Freedom of Information
How To Request Information
Introduction
Bexley Council welcomes enquiries about its activities and routinely publishes a great deal of information. You may be able to find the information you need yourself, through the Council's Publication Scheme or elsewhere on our website.
However, if you can't find what you are looking for, complete the form below.
Once received, an acknowledgement will be sent to you.
Timescale
Bexley Council will respond to your request within 20 working days at the latest.
School related enquiries will be dealt with within 20 school working days.
Exemptions
Should we be unable to supply anything you request, we will explain the reasons to you.
Contacting the Council
If you wish to contact the Council about your information request after it has been submitted (however you have submitted that request), please e-mail foi@bexley.gov.uk or write to the address given below.
Charges
There are no charges for requests that involve less than £450 of staff time. Postage and printing charges may apply, but the Council will inform you of these charges in advance. This will give you the option to confirm your request or not to proceed if you do not want to pay any charges.
Appeals
Should you be unhappy with the way in which your request has been dealt with, the reasons given for being unable to supply information, or any other aspect of the way the Council is responding to Freedom of Information, please contact:
