Developer Selection Process
The London Borough of Bexley is conducting a ‘Competitive Dialogue’ developer
selection competition to identify a partner developer, or consortium of developers,
to participate in the development of the Civic centre site.
This competitive process is designed to allow a number of different companies
to propose alternative schemes for the Bexleyheath Civic site. This will
allow the Council and the residents of the Borough to benefit from the best
design, expertise and financial terms for the development.
The Council has announced the shortlisted
developers who are now invited to submit more detailed plans for the development.
Submissions will be subject to evaluation against robust criteria including
value for money, quality of design and the experience of the developer or consortium.
The Council hopes to announce the selected developer in Spring 2009. |
