Bexley First
Improved Customer Services
The aim of the Council’s Bexley First programme is to delivery
better local services and value for money to local people.
- The new civic reception area will improve residents’ face-to-face
contact, through one stop access to a wide range of Council services.
- Council Libraries will be enhanced to provide residents with a network
of convenient local contact points.
- New technology will mean Council staff will be able to come to people’s
homes to deliver some specialist services.
- Access to services will be increased further through the expansion of Council’s
contact centre and website improvements.
- Bringing most council staff together in the new civic building will improve
the effectiveness of Council operations.
These improvements will mean that Council services are more flexible and better
meet the needs to local residents. |
