Directorate Service Plans

The Council's corporate planning documents, the Corporate Plan 2008 to 2011 and the Annual Plan 2008/09 dictate service level planning. The aim of service planning is to ensure that Members and officers can target the most effective use of the Council's resources.

Directorate Service Plans are produced simultaneously with departmental work plans and set out the aims and objectives for the next three years and detailed annual targets for 2008/09 for each of the Council's four Directorates and the Chief Executive's Department. These service plans demonstrate how aims and objectives of individual Directorates' link and support the delivery of the Council's overall aims and objectives as published in the Corporate Plan 2008 to 2011 and the Annual Plan 2008/09.
