Daniel Francis has lived in Belvedere since 1977 and has served as a Councillor representing Belvedere ward since September 2000. He remains committed to improving public transport provision, local facilities for young people and working with local community groups to improve conditions for residents and regularly attends meetings with residents across the ward.
He currently serves on the Management Committee of the Belvedere Community Forum and Tri-Forum (a group formed by the Belvedere, Erith & Slade Green Forums to provide activities for young people), is a governor at Lessness Heath Primary School (his former Primary School) and on the Management Committee at Belvedere Community Centre, which he chaired from 2002 until the elections in 2006.
He is currently Deputy Leader of the Labour Group and Shadow Spokesperson
for Regeneration and Housing. He has previously held the Council's Transport
and Parking portfolio and has held the posts of Chair of the Environment Scrutiny
Committee and Public Transport Advisory Group. A former manager for a large
retail company, Daniel now combines his Council work with a role as a part-time
assistant for a Labour MP and as a board member of London TravelWatch, the
official watchdog organisation representing the interests of transport users
in and around the capital.

Ron has lived in Bexley for many years. He is married and has two adult children and three young grandsons. Ron is retired after working for electrical engineering companies. He also worked for two city banks. Ron is a member of the Health and Adult Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee. He is also Vice Chairman of The Regeneration and Housing Overview and Scrutiny Committee. Ron has been a Governor of Brampton Primary School since 1974. |

I have lived in Northumberland Heath for 26 years. I currently run a small local business and I believe that living and working in the ward I am well placed to understand what is needed to make North Heath safer for local residents and how to campaign to improve the services used by local residents. James is 26 years old and has lived in Welling his whole life. He attended local Schools, in fact his whole education has been in Bexley starting with Westwood Infants School, Junior School, Secondary School and Sixth Form and then he went on to get his degree, BA (Hons) Stage Management from Rose Bruford College in Sidcup.
James has worked in Entertainment now for nine years, spending the majority of it as a Stage/Company Manager working on West End Shows, Pantomimes and Tours. Currently he is running a successful Agency, finding Actors and Performers their dream jobs.
He is also a Governor at his old School Westwood College. |
