"This
is great news for the Council, reflecting years of hard work by councillors,
managers, staff and a number of our partners. It's also good news for residents,
because it means that independent experts think the Council is doing a
good job and our reward will be more freedom to serve our local community."
Leader of the Council (May 2002 - 2006),
Councillor Chris Ball |
