What is Business Continuity?

Have you ever taken the time to consider:

What could possibly go wrong and prevent you from continuing to operate?
What is likely to happen and what impact will it have on your business?
Would you know what to do if your business was affected by an incident?

What if:

The electricity supply failed?
Water, gas or communication networks (landlines and mobiles) were disrupted or interrupted?
Adverse, extreme or severe weather conditions made it difficult for the business to continue to trade?
IT networks, hardware or software failed or became corrupted?
Fire, explosion or water including flooding, damaged parts or all of your premises
Key documents were destroyed in a fire?
Staff could not gain access to the building? And for how long?
The business experienced supply chain failures with potential losses of work to competitors?
