Schedule of Classes
Each class contains a range of information from various different
sources. In some cases a class of information sets out a range of
information which is excluded from publication. Excluded throughout
the Scheme is information relating to private individuals by virtue
of it being personal data under the Data Protection Act 1998 together
with general correspondence sent or received by the Council.
In certain classes a limitation on the age of some documents has
been stipulated which means that the information is not available
within the Publication Scheme.
The classes are as follows:
1. About Your Council
Definition
This class comprises information regularly published on
issues currently being dealt with by the Council including press
releases and news stories.

2. Consumer Protection and Trading Standards
Definition
This class includes current advice and guidance to the public on
consumer purchases and product safety.

3. Council and Committee Decisions
Definition
This class includes agenda,
reports and records of decisions for public meetings of the Council, its Cabinet
and Scrutiny/Regulatory
Committees and sub-committees, together with reports to individual
Cabinet Members for formal decisions. In this class the information
available is of the current municipal year and the preceding twelve
months. No material shall be made available which at the date of
the request is 'exempt' or confidential within the
meaning of the Local Government Acts 1972 & 2000.
