What is Clubmark accreditation?
Clubmark is a nationally recognised standard designed especially for sports clubs. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.
- The Playing Programme – the club must ensure coaching and competition is right for the age and ability of participants, and help children reach their potential.
- Duty of Care and Child Protection – the club must have a child protection policy and a Child Welfare Officer. Children's welfare must be embedded in all club activities.
