Olympic Torch Relay in Bexley - 22 July 2012
Over 100,000 people welcomed the Olympic Flame to Bexley in one of the biggest events the borough has ever seen.
The Flame was transported across the Thames into Erith Yacht Club, before forty inspirational Torchbearers (see link below) carried it on an eight-mile route to Danson Park, where a cauldron was lit by former world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis.
