Waste and Recycling Collections

We can collect commercial waste in a variety of sizes, from sacks to 1100l euro bins. Waste collections are usually weekly but fortnightly can be arranged.

As the cost of waste disposal is rapidly increasing it makes sense for all businesses to reduce their costs by recycling as much as possible. There are lots of other benefits to your business such as reducing clutter and improving your reputation. Our business waste case study has an example of a Bexley business who has benefited from starting recycling.

Businesses can recycle:
Paper and cardboard
Plastic bottles and cans
Glass bottles and jars
Food waste

Price charts are available which show the cost of both waste and recycling collections.

Business waste can also be brought to Thames Road Waste Transfer Station.

Electronic, bulky and hazardous waste

Unwanted electrical items can be recycled for free through the 123 Recycle for Free service.

Remember, if your business generates any waste electrical or electronic equipment (WEEE) it needs to comply with UK WEEE regulations.

If you need to dispose of other hazardous or bulky items which cannot be collected or disposed of using regular services - such as asbestos, chemical, textile, oils, paint, tyres and more - please visit the Environment Agency's Net Regs Waste Directory. This directory is an easy-to-use and helpful search tool which provides you with local waste disposal options for whatever items you search for.
