Supreme Education Supply Team

Supreme Education Plc is an online teacher recruitment solution commissioned to work in Bexley to provide a supply teacher service for schools. Schools have access to and control of a tailor-made online service that enables them to source primary, secondary and special educational needs teachers for day-to-day, short term and long term cover. .

Eligibility

Newly qualified teachers

Newly qualified teachers are limited to 16 months short-term supply teaching before obtaining a placement of least one term in a setting in which induction can be undertaken. Supply teaching placements need to be for one term or more to form part of the induction period and must involve regular teaching of the same classes. The head teacher must agree at the start of the placement to take responsibility for the induction period.

Overseas trained teachers

Overseas teachers trained inside the European Economic Area (EEA), who are registered with the General Teaching Council England are able to join the supply service. Teachers trained in non EEA countries who have work permits or working holiday visas or partiality are able to join the supply service. Overseas trained teachers who started teaching in the UK four years ago or more on a supply or permanent basis may not be employed as teachers after four years unless they have gained qualified teacher status.
