Planning application formsA national standard planning application form, known as '1APP' has been created by the Government to streamline the planning system across England and Wales to make it easier for applicants. The use of the standard form will be mandatory from 6 April 2008. After that date we will not be able to accept applications submitted on existing/old style forms. To ensure that you provide the information necessary for your application to be processed efficiently, different forms are provided for different types of application. If you need to apply for two consent types, eg. planning permission and listed building consent, combined forms are available which include the questions for both application types. If you use one of these combined forms, even though you only have to complete one form, it will be treated as two applications and you will be advised of two application numbers, one for each type of consent. From the 6 April 2008, new regulations require all planning related applications to be accompanied by a number of plans and documents in order to be accepted as valid. A copy of the London Borough of Bexley's planning application requirements is downloadable from the right hand menu. It will help ensure that you provide the information we need. By providing this information we will be able to process your application as quickly as possible. Failure to provide this information when you submit your application will make your application invalid and will delay the processing of your application until the information is supplied. You may download any of the applications forms provided on these pages to make an application. Alternatively, to apply online, please use the Planning Portal link provided in the right hand menu.
