Search site

Personal searches

Personal searches are available through an appointment system on a first come, first served basis. We offer the next available appointment, however, this may not always be on the next working day.

The register is held at the Civic Offices. Full details of the address are on the right hand side of the page under related contacts.

Appointments are available between 9am and 12am Monday to Friday.

Appointments may be arranged by phoning the Local Land Charges Section on 020 3045 4000. Plans are not usually required for residential properties, however, they are always required for commercial, industrial and land sites. When phoning, please give a contact address, phone number and full search address.

A printout of the register will be prepared in advance of your appointment. You may inspect this printout and make notes. However, you may not photocopy, scan or photograph this printout; it must be returned at the end of your visit.

Non registerable planning decisions from 1977 onwards can be accessed by viewing Planning applications online.

Feedback

Feedback is important to us and may assist us in improving service to our customers.

Should you have any feedback, suggestions or complaints about any aspect of the personal search service then please let us know.

In the event of a problem we ask that you contact the land charges team in the first instance to see if it may be resolved amicably.

If this is not possible then the Council has a formal complaints procedure.
