How to find Bexley Local Studies and Archive Centre

Bexley Local Studies & Archive Centre is located on the first floor of Central Library, Bexleyheath.

We are situated adjacent to the Broadway Shopping Centre and pedestrianised shopping area in Bexleyheath, Kent. There are near by on-street meter parking and ample parking in an adjacent car park.

By Rail

The nearest stations are Bexleyheath and Barnehurst. Both stations are approximately 15-20 minutes walk. Consult External link to web siteNational Rail Enquires for full details of routes and train times.

By Bus

Buses: 269, B13, 132, 401, 469, B11, B12, B14, B15, B16, 96 and 89.

By Car

For visitors approaching the borough from either London or Kent, both the A2 (M2) and A20 (M20) pass through Bexley and cross the M25 at junctions 2 and 3 respectively.

We are normally open 6 days a week. Please note that the Archive is not available for consultation on Sundays.
