Early Years Advisory Team - Early Years Advisory Teachers team (EYATs) and Area Senco team |
Eyat Team: A team of qualified teachers who advise, train and support staff in Early Years Foundation (EYFS) settings in order to promote and develop quality education and care.
Area Senco team:A team of specialist teachers and other staff who advise, train and support staff to meet the needs of children with identified special educational needs (SEN) and on early identification of SEN. They work with providers of early education and care in the PVI sector. |

Education Business Partnership |
Bexley Education Business Partnership's role is to broker links between local education, businesses and the wider community. |

The Education Welfare Service works closely with parents and schools to encourage regular school attendance and reduce truancy. It also provides information on child employment. |

Elections |
The Council organises local, parliamentary and European elections. Information is available about voting rights, polling stations and how you can vote by post or by proxy i.e. where someone votes on your behalf in person.

Energy Conservation |
The Energy Conservation Officer works to ensure buildings are operated in an effective and efficient manner with regards usage of energy and water. The Council has a Sustainable Energy Strategy and provides information, education, publicity and training for residents and the business community of Bexley. |

Environment improvement schemes |
The Council carries out work to improve the local environment including work on roads and highways, protecting the natural environment, controlling development and through measures such as tree planting. An Environmental Strategy has been produced by the Council. For information on highway improvements contact Works and Contract. |

Environmental Challenge |
An annual competition run by the Council for projects and initiatives aiming at improving the environment in the borough. |

Enviro Crime |
The Enviro Crime Team are responsible for regulations for the highway, which consists of
the carriageway, footway and grass verge maintained at public expense. The matters
they deal with include litter enforcement, permission and regulations for placing
builders' skips or building materials on the highway, dog fouling, abandoned
vehicles and overhanging vegetation. |
