Walks

There are several walks through Bexley for people to enjoy:
The Green Chain Walk - a string of over 300 public and private open spaces across south-east London. The Bexley stretch begins at Thameside Walk through to Oxleas Woods.

Cray and Shuttle Riverway Walk - a public footpath route through the Cray Valley and Crayford Marshes.

Waste

Disposal of domestic and/or trade refuse in a safe and responsible manner.

Waste disposal

Household refuse that cannot be collected as part of the normal refuse collection service, e.g. because it is too bulky, can be collected by special arrangement. There will be a charge depending on the amount to be collected.

Water quality

If you have concerns or queries about the quality of your drinking water you can report it to the Environmental Health Service and an investigation can be carried out.

Trading Standards carry out the testing of weighing and measuring equipment and can provide advice to businesses on matters concerning weights and measures legislation.
