to the selection tests in order to be able to publish results before parents
have to submit secondary school application forms in October. The final decision
on the changes was made in December 2007. Specimen questions have been prepared
for schools and parents to work through with children, and there are practice
questions at the start of each test to enable all children to understand what
is required. More information is available here. (Posted 29 May 2008)
Last year over 138,000 tonnes of waste were produced in Bexley and 44% of this was landfilled. New legislation, environmental issues and rising costs mean that we must find alternatives to landfill.
