Satisfied Customers

Chapter and verse from those asked is that users in Bexley are satisfied by the borough's fresh looking, hi-tec libraries.

Bexley Libraries scored exceptionally well in a recent satisfaction survey completed by library users - and achieved extremely high scores in the top three measures of satisfaction.

Ninety-four per cent of users rated Bexley Libraries as good or very good - which puts the service in second place out of all the London authorities in this category.

Bexley's Cabinet Member for Leisure, Arts and Tourism, Cllr Peter Catterall said he was delighted with the survey's results: "It's satisfying to know that our libraries are well used and appreciated by those that live and work in Bexley. All our libraries offer a wide range of information and services and are highly valued by users. We have a library service the borough can be proud of."

More that 80 per cent of people said they had found the information they were looking for and were satisfied with it.

And over 87 per cent of the people surveyed said that although they hadn't been looking for anything in particular they had found something that satisfied them. This statistic placed Bexley libraries into the top five London boroughs overall.

Bexley Libraries offer a huge range of services and activities for all ages - from DVDs and CDs to wifi zones, self-service facilities, free access to the Internet and MS office applications - and of course a tremendous range of books.
