Cut Price Home Insulation Offer

Bexley's residents are being urged to take the Mayor of London up on an offer of cut price home insulation. Mayor Ken Livingstone is also throwing in £100 cashback.

And Bexley's Cabinet Member for the Environment, Cllr Gareth Bacon, said that the scheme is a good idea. He said: "I think it is a positive step and would urge the people of Bexley to apply. Home insulation can only be a positive move. However, if you're interested you need to move quickly as the offer is subject to demand and ends on 1 June."

Call 0845 070 5059 quoting WEB GLA to check eligibility and arrange a survey. Insulation is normally completed with no fuss and no mess, as installation teams always clean up afterwards.

Afterwards you will receive your certificate of insulation and 25-year guarantee for cavity wall insulations. In addition you'll get £100 cashback from the Mayor of London and British Gas.

Twenty per cent of the heat lost in an average home is through ventilation and draughts, including poorly insulated window frames and single glazing.

With the Mayor of London's insulation offer you could get cavity wall insulation for as little as £250 and loft insulation for £274. If you are in receipt of benefits you may be entitled to free insulation.

You can also pay for your reduced cost home insulation via an interest free loan. Paying by direct debit, you can choose to pay the total cost over 12 or 24 monthly instalments.
