Sidcup - with that Continental Flavour
Discover Europe and enjoy its diversity through the variety of its products
as the Continental Village Market comes to Sidcup from Thursday 31 May to Sunday
3 June.
Over 20 stalls will transform the centre of Sidcup into a bustling European
market with traditional cooking, music, and costumes.
Arranged by the Sidcup Town Management team on behalf of Sidcup Town Centre
Forum, Bexley Council and the Paras Bristiel organisation, the market will be
bringing that Continental flavour to Main Road, Sidcup, offering a variety of
foods from European nations as well as a stall on one of the days providing information
on the Tour de France cycle race, which will stream through northern Bexley on
Sunday 8 July.

John Waters, says: "I am delighted to welcome
this market to Sidcup. Variety like this really brings Sidcup to life. Personally
I shall be there and I look forward to stocking up on olives, cheese, and wine!"
Among the exciting Continental taste sensations there will be European cheeses,
Belgian chocolates, dried sausages, Spanish paella, garlic and onions, French
wines, Greek olives, dried fruits Brittany cakes and biscuits and French breads.
Luxury comparison goods from around the Continent, such as perfumes, hand-made
soaps and handbags will also be available. This amazing range of wine, food and
regional products will be on sale between 9am-5pm each day.
