29 November - Spreading the Anti-bullying Message

21 November - Welling Man the Subject of Bexley's Latest ASBO

A 21-year-old Welling man was made the subject of an Anti-Social Behaviour Order at Bexley Magistrates' Court earlier this month (9 November) after an application by Bexley Police with support from the London Borough of Bexley's Anti-Social Behaviour Unit.

21 November - For the Peckish in the Park

Even in mid-winter Danson Park - recently voted London's best park - can be glorious but, as Cllr Peter Catterall, Bexley's Cabinet Member for Leisure, Arts and Tourism, observes: "A warming drink doesn't go amiss on a park visit."

9 November - Cold Calling Ban for Two Sidcup Roads

Deniston Avenue and Shoreham Close, both in Albany Park, Sidcup, are being set up as the borough's second and third 'No Cold Calling' zones. Both roads have been targeted recently by rogue traders and distraction burglars.

7 November - Rat on a Rat

In the continuing war on alcohol related crime and disorder, the London Borough of Bexley, in conjunction with police, has launched a campaign specifically aimed at cracking down on alcohol sales either to, or on behalf of, under-aged youngsters.

7 November - Money for Crossness

The London Borough of Bexley and the Invest Bexley Board have secured £700,000 in funding from the Department for Communities & Local Government (DCLG) Thames Gateway Executive, to help with restoration and improvement works at Crossness, the Victorian pumping station in Thamesmead.
