Free Play Day Fun For All

Children and young people aged 0-18 years, parents and carers are invited along to fun free events across the borough to mark this year's National Play Day (6 August).

The theme for this year's Play Day is 'Give Us A Go'. Activities at each of the events have been designed to encourage children to take part in challenging and adventurous play opportunities.

The fun activities to try out include sports, under 5’s play activities, face painting, donkey rides, parachute games, pet corner, indoor planetarium, bungee runs, arts and crafts and much more.

Play Day events will be taking place -

3 August from 12pm to 3pm at Baker's Trust Hall, Maxim Road, Crayford.
Face painting, bungee run, arts and crafts and barbecue.
Organised by the Crayford Christian Fellowship Church.

6 August from 10am to 3pm at North Cray Community Centre.
Sports, games and health related activities and lots of other events and activities throughout the week

6 August from 11am to 3pm at Danson Youth Centre, Brampton Road.
Sports, arts, mini indoor planetarium, arts and crafts.
Organised by Danson Youth Centre.

6 August from 12pm - 3pm at Crossways Park, Thamesmead.
Sensory play, sports and Team Extreme.
Organised by Gallions Housing Association.

Bexley's Family Information Service will be on hand at each of the events to provide guidance and advice on services available for parents, carers and their children.
