Learn More About Where You Live
Are you 12 - 16 years old? How about researching your local area by visiting
the Local Studies and Archive Centre at Bexleyheath?
The two new free courses are aimed at young people who are interested in local
history, photographs of Bexley, computer resources and old local newspapers
on microfilm.
During the course you can find out more about the development of your area
including your home, transport, shops and environment. Or look into Bexley's
past using old maps, postcards, microfilm records of newspapers and online
digital images of past times.
The two courses are due to take place 13, 14 and 15 August, 10am – 12.00
noon and 27, 28 and 29 August 2pm – 4pm.
