A popular free after school arts club for primary school children is extending across the borough offering more children the chance to get involved.

The Primary Colours Art Club, for pupils in years one to six, began at Welling School as a joint community project between the school and the Police. It proved to be so successful that the London Borough of Bexley has stepped in to provide additional times and venues.

The club gives children the opportunity to work with professional artists and teachers, take part in visual arts projects and exhibit their work.

The club will now run at Welling School on Mondays and Saturdays, Chislehurst and Sidcup

Grammar School on Tuesdays, and Townley Grammar School for Girls on Wednesdays.

For times, information and enrolment details for Primary Colours please visit External linkwww.primary-colours.org.uk or contact Rachael Stanway, Principal Arts Officer on 020 8294 6958.
