    25 January 2017: London Borough of Bexley was featured early this morning (25 January) in a campaign broadcast on Sky news called 'Sky Ocean rescue'. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the damage that plastic household waste does to the ocean and is supported by Prince Charles who described the build-up of plastic waste in our oceans as "one of the most troubling environmental trends".

    From September 2017 the government will be offering an additional 15 hours funded childcare to families meeting certain criteria.
