Welcome to Bexley Council Arts page, where you can find information on past, present and future Arts projects and opportunities in Bexley.
Bexley Council is developing a wide ranging cultural and art programme for people of all ages. We aim to deliver innovative, integrated and accessible arts provision for residents and visitors to Bexley through all art forms, ranging from dance and drama, to music, film and literature.
Cultural Services provides information, support and guidance on a wide rage of areas including Danson Festival, Arts in school, opportunities for local artists to share their work at the Drayman Gallery and local exhibitions.
Many exciting projects are springing up around your borough including the installation of three new public arts commissions as part of the Erith Public Arts project funded by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM).
Information and guidance is also offered to voluntary organisations on project management and funding opportunities, as well as the managing a growing database of local cultural facilities and organisations.
Over the coming months we will be launching our Arts strategy through which we can deliver a number of key objectives as identified in our consultation with local groups, schools and the Professional Arts Forum. |
