The 9-hole woodland course was built in 1903 and appeals to golfers of all
abilities. There is a practice area available free of charge for a pre-game warm-up.
Exceptionally good value packages are available for Golf Societies of 10 or more
golfers.

Bookings
Our booking system allows players to book seven days in advance of play.
A golf teacher can be booked, at very competitive rates, for either group
or individual lessons.
Society Days, Special Events and Business Fun Days can also be arranged to
suit your needs, and competitions are held on a regular basis.
Payment Options
The following Green Fees are valid from 1 April 2006 - 31 March 2007.
The
seasonal and direct debit 'season ticket' schemes allow unlimited golf for either
5 or 7 days. They will also entitle you to an official club handicap and to
play in many competitions.

Dress Code & Etiquette
At Barnehurst Golf Course it is acceptable to wear sports shirts with collars,
smart trousers or tailored shorts, golf shoes that are either spiked or dimpled,
or flat soled trainers, over-trousers and waterproofs that are as plain as possible,
and sleeved tops at all times.
It is not acceptable to wear casual t-shirts, football shirts, vests or bare
chests, jeans, jogging bottoms, work clothes, overalls, work shoes or boots.

Players should always observe good course etiquette:
- Avoiding slow play, and allowing faster groups to play through
- Protect the course by replacing divots and pitch marks on the greens
- Play from the Yellow/Blue tees except in competitions
- Do not swear at other golfers, officials or the public whilst on the course
or in the clubhouse
- Adhere to booked Tee times and follow the Course Marshall's directions,
especially at peak times
- Each player must have a bag with a minimum of six clubs - no bag or
club sharing
- Course tickets much be retained whilst on the course and produced for inspection
when requested
