Keeping Bexley Safe

Victim Support

Victim Support is the independent charity which helps people cope with the effects of crime. They provide free and confidential support and information to help you deal with your experience.

Victim Support operates a “one stop shop” in Bexley. Here you can get help and advice including: information about police and court procedures, compensation and insurance matters, help with liaising with other services or sources of help if you are a victim of crime.

For those who are witnesses to crime Victim Support can offer information about the court procedure – often with the chance to look around a court room, someone to accompany you, support you through the process and can arrange for a quiet area to wait before and during the proceedings as well as putting you in touch with people who can provide advice about the case itself.

To find out more about the work of Victim Support you can contact them in person at:

The Victim Support website also provides details of other Victim Support branches throughout the UK.
