Rates e-billing service
What is e-billing?
E-billing is another way to receive your business rates bill. Instead of receiving a paper bill through the post we will send your bill by e-mail.
How will I benefit from e-billing?
E-billing provides a faster, more efficient and convenient way to receive your bills. Here are some of the advantages:
- You can view your bill as soon as it is available and keep a copy on file.
- You can redistribute copies of bills quickly and electronically.
- Bills are issued direct to the intended recipient or department and are not delayed by post.
- It is environmentally friendly.
Who can register?
To register for e-billing you must pay your business rates to Bexley Council by Direct Debit.
How do I register for e-billing?
All you need to do is apply on line.
You will then be sent an e-mail notification when the service has been established for you. Once set up, future bills and adjustment notices will be issued to you as an attachment to an e-mail.
Can more than one named ratepayer receive the e-bill?
At present e-billing can only be set up for one e-mail address per business rates account. You will, however, be able to forward your e-mail onto others.
What if my circumstances change?
To inform us of a change of name, e-mail address, change in circumstances, or problems affecting your receipt of e-mails, contact us at either the e-mail or correspondence address shown above.
