A variety of courses and opportunity come up throughout the year, to help participants complete their Awards. Visit this page regularly to find out what's happening in Bexley.

Courses

Basic Expedition Leaders Award (B.E.L.A)

This is a Nationally recognised qualification for teaching and leading groups in low level British Countryside. It is ideal for teachers and youth workers and D of E award Leaders or if you are involved in leading a group in the outdoors. This course is 90 hours and is lead over 3 weekends and 5 evening sessions. There are opportunities for it to be undertaken as a fast track one week course the 90 hrs must include 2 residential periods and include 2 nights under canvas.

Expedition Training

Based on our extensive experience we offer a range of training from camp craft and navigation to Expedition First Aid, survival skills and Expedition planning and preparation.

Course dates arranged for Award Groups on request.
