Coordinated Primary Admissions Scheme

Draft scheme recommended to Bexley LEA.
Dates of Selection Tests

Recommended to Bexley LEA that the days of selection tests for 2005 be on 9 and 10 November and 16 and 17 November.
Co-ordinated Secondary Admissions Scheme

Recommended revised scheme to Bexley LEA for adoption for September 2006 admissions.
School Admission Arrangements 2006/07

No comments on Bexley LEA's proposed admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools.

Coordinated Admissions – Secondary

Draft scheme recommended to Bexley LEA including recommendation that parents should have four preferences, which would be treated as equal preferences.
Timing of open days/visits to secondary schools

Secondary school recommended to hold their open days/visits in September, and that the Secondary Heads Conference requested to coordinate dates. Parents to be advised of the educational disadvantages of taking their children out of school for visits.

Coordinated Admissions – Primary

Proposal to defer scheme for a year supported.
School adjudication decisions – Kent

Admission Authorities to be advised to bear in mind the Kent adjudications in drawing up their admission arrangements for 2005/6.
Coordinated admissions – Secondary

Pan-London template recommended as the basis for preparing the Bexley Scheme.
