More to offer

With the bright lights of central London and the 'Garden of England' both only a stone's throw away, Bexley's able to offer all the benefits of capital, countryside, coast and continent on its doorstep.

Our borough's well-served by London's buses and mainline trains, connecting us to central London in just 35-55 minutes, not to mention further afield. The M25 motorway running round the east of borough means that it's easy to get onto the UK Motorway network, not forgetting the Channel Tunnel and channel ports that are less than an hour's drive down the A20/M20 link.

But besides being an excellent base for great days out, Bexley offers its own special mix of culture, shopping, nightlife and places of historical interests, as well as having mile upon mile of woodlands, rivers and open spaces to enjoy.

One of the most exciting things to happen to our borough is the 2012 Olympics. Our location at the heart of the Thames Gateway means that there's loads of new investment pouring into housing, jobs, community infrastructure and the environment in our area. It's good news for our residents and anyone who decides to build their career in Bexley.
