The Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places
(Parliamentary Elections) Regulations, 2006
In accordance with the above Regulations, London Borough of Bexley has carried out a
review of Polling Districts and Polling Places in the borough.
Details of the new polling districts and polling places agreed are available
for inspection at the Council’s Contact Centre, libraries and other principal
Council Office reception areas, as well as on the Council’s website.
Additionally, details of –
- All correspondence sent to the Returning Officer in connection with the review
- All correspondence sent to persons whom the Council considered had particular
expertise in relation to access to premises or facilities for persons who have
different forms of disability
- All representations made in relation to the review
- The reports submitted to, and the minutes of the meetings of, the General
Purposes Committee and the Council in considering the outcome of the review
are available for inspection at the Council’s Electoral Services Office
at the Civic Offices, Broadway, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB.

The Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places
(Parliamentary Elections) Regulations, 2006
In accordance with the above Regulations, London Borough of Bexley is to carry out
a review of Polling Districts and Polling Places in the borough. Detailed proposals
will be available from Wednesday, 25th July and will be published on the Council’s
website and be available at the Contact Centre, libraries and other principal
Council offices. Comments should be submitted by 14th September, 2007.
As part of the review process, comments are to be sought from such persons
as the Council thinks have particular expertise in relation to access to premises
or facilities for persons who have different forms of disability. The Council’s
Returning Officer, local political parties, voluntary/community groups, Councillors
and Members of Parliament will be consulted and any individual elector will be
able to comment and propose specific alternative polling arrangements, which
will then be considered by the Council later in the year.
