Local Climate Change Action in Bexley
Climate change challenges the social, environmental and economic wellbeing
of everyone in every community across the world.
Bexley will be affected by a changing climate too. The predictions indicate
that weather extremes will place a significant cost on local infrastructure,
homes, businesses , even our health and our environment.
Governments across the world recognise that meaningful action on climate change
starts with individuals all taking straightforward, realistic steps to reduce
the harmful pollution that causes climate change.
In response to this challenge and to help Bexley prepare for an uncertain
climatic future we have produced a Climate Change Strategy which aims to address
the causes and effects of climate change and take action at a local level that
contributes to national and international goals.
