Asbestos is a natural mineral made up of many small fibres. There are three main types, blue, brown and white - all of which can be harmful. Asbestos has been used for many years in building materials and consumer goods.

We accept all sheet asbestos at either of our Reuse and Recycling sites at Maidstone Road, Foots Cray and Thames Road, Crayford. Please ask a member of staff for assistance when arriving at the centre.
