Home Composting and Waste Minimisation

Give or take day held at Crayford Town HallGive or Take Day

Do you have anything that you don't want anymore, but that someone else might be able to use instead? If so, give your unwanted items a second chance by taking them to 'A Give or Take Day' and help yourself to anything that you could use again. Once a year Bexley council organise a 'Give or Take Day'.

What can you bring or take?

  • Furniture
  • Kitchenware and other household items
  • Home entertainment, e.g. dvds, videos
  • Bicycles
  • Toys and books
  • Clothes and shoes in good condition
  • Reusable linen, such as curtains and sheets
  • Bric-a-brac
  • Hand Tools

What not to bring?

  • Electrical Items
  • Duvets and pillows
  • Hazardous or toxic items
  • Gas appliances
  • Large items (any item that cannot fit into a car or small van)

Please remember: No traders or pets (except guide dogs) are allowed and time restrictions may be applied.
