What shouldn't I put out as domestic waste?
Domestic waste is collected by the Council from every house in the borough
on a weekly basis. Check the collections schedule to find out which day your
regular and holiday collections will take place.
Front edge of property collection
Waste will only be collected from the edge of your property boundary, that
is normally inside your garden and within one metre or three feet of your
front gate or wall.
These collection arrangements reduce the risk of
waste being missed and also help to make the service faster, more reliable
and more effective.
If you cannot leave your waste at the front of your property, the
Council will discuss this with you and helps where it can. Please
contact us on 020 8303 7777, Option 1.
