Trees in the Borough

Trees in Open Spaces, Parks or on the public highway are looked after by our Trees and Woodlands Section.

Adopt-A-Tree

You can adopt a new tree outside your house. All you have to do to care for your tree is:

Water tree thoroughly every 8 to 10 days during April to September
Keep tree pit clear of weeds to avoid competition
Check stake and ties for stability
Firm soil after frost or strong winds.
If your tree does not look well, call Highways and Amenities on 020 8303 7777, Option 1.
