Corporate Small Grants Scheme
|
Applications to the Scheme this year have now closed. |
The Council have launched a new Voluntary
Sector Funding Strategy. The strategy sets out the approach the
Council will use when allocating funding to the voluntary and community sector
to ensure that the best use is made of limited funding. A new Corporate
Small Grants Scheme is included as part of the new funding arrangements.
This scheme will run annually with bids invited for grants up to £2000.
The new scheme draws together and builds on previous small grants schemes
including those operating in Social & Community Services and Children and Young People’s
Services.
The small grants scheme will provide funding for new or innovative projects,
one-off projects or activities, development costs and one-off investments or
purchases that will assist the Council in delivering its key priorities. In
line with the Council’s new approach, there is more focus on funding proposals
that support the Council’s priorities.
