Housing Services in Bexley

Bexley Allocations Service helps find homes for people and works closely with our Housing Options Service which helps homeless people and provides advice on preventing homelessness and other housing related matters.

Bexley Housing Strategy 2002-2006

Anyone living in rented accommodation on a low or benefit based income can apply for Housing and Council Tax Benefit.

Information is available on the Council's current Housing Strategy and Enabling and Development team, both of which play a strategic role in how housing is developed in Bexley.

For out of hours emergencies we have an Emergency Duty Service and for those that would like the peace of mind of having emergency assistance at the touch of a button we have Bexley Emergency Link Line - BELL.

Bexley Council also run a Supporting People programme, which provides housing related support to help vulnerable people manage their homes and live more independently, providing a better quality of life.
