Parking Dispensations / bay suspensions
The Council provides for the suspension of parking bays:
- Residents
- Business
- Meters
- On-Street pay and display
- Limited waiting / Short stay parking
- Free parking
- Footway parking
- Multiple use
There is a charge for the suspension service provided which is:

There is also a facility for the provision of Vehicle Dispensations for single
yellow lines – a Dispensation is a document produced by the Council
which allows a vehicle to be parked on single yellow lines during
the days and hours of restriction, Dispensations are issued for individual vehicles
only and show individual vehicle registrations, they are usually issued for a
particular road and last a maximum of two weeks (based on seven days weeks).
There is a charge for the provision of dispensations which is:

Per individual dispensation * Multi registration dispensations are
available for commercial vehicles. These documents do not show a vehicle registration,
however, only the original document is valid so only one vehicle
can use the Dispensation at any one time. These type of permits are charged at
single rate.

The above services are provided by the Council through it’s parking
enforcement contractor, Vincipark Services UK. Please contact them during office
hours on 020 8301 5200 where a representative will process the
details of your request and the Council will consider your application. The Council
reserves the right to refuse applications in the interest of public service and
/ or good order.
