Resident Permits

If you are a resident within a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), you can apply for a Resident Parking Permit by printing out and returning the Resident Permit Application Form (121KB, PDF file). Forms should be posted to the address given on the form.

You will need to supply proof of:

• Residence - You will be required to provide documentary proof, e.g. Driving Licence, Medical Card, Tenancy Agreement or letter from your Solicitor to show that you reside within the zone.
  
• Vehicle Ownership - You should provide your Vehicle Registration Document or any other document that includes your name, address within the zone and vehicle registration number, e.g. Insurance Cover Note, Bill of Sale. A letter of authority is required if your vehicle is leased or a company car.

If you are unable to satisfy the above conditions, enquires should be made to either the Parking Control Office, P.O. Box 379 Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 8LE, or VINCI Park UK on 020 8301 5200 before submitting this form.

• If you wish to use your existing resident's permit with a new vehicle (i.e. one not identified when you originally applied for that permit) you must notify VINCI Park UK.
• If you require a replacement for a current resident's permit through loss or theft you should complete the Replacement Application Form (70KB, PDF file).

Current CPZ price list - Residents' Permits

The current list of permit prices for residents, visitors and businesses is also available to download: CPZ Price List (61KB, PDF file).

• These prices come into effect on 1st April 2008, and should be used for all applications made which are due to start after 1st April 2008, (even if such applications are submitted before 1st April 2008). Payment of the incorrect charge may result in a delay in processing the application and a letter may be sent to the applicant requesting the correct payment to be made prior to the processing of the application.

• Applications should be made in good time prior to the expiry of any existing Resident permit as until a new or renewed permit is received by the applicant the conditions associated with use of the scheme are not applicable and the vehicle should be parked legally in compliance of all parking controls.
