Danson Park Watersports Centre

At Danson Park Watersports we provide the opportunity to take part in sailing, canoeing, windsurfing from the age of 8 and over.

The centre provides courses, taster sessions, birthday parties, one-to-one tuition, and youth and school group bookings. You can also use your own equipment or hire equipment from the centre. There is an extensive youth programme for anyone aged 8 to 16. From school holiday programs to the ever popular youth night on a Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm.

The centre is located at the Boathouse in Danson Park, Danson road, just off the A2. There is a canoeing club and rowing club based at Danson Park Lake.

Shop

On site there is a shop stocking Sailing, Kayaking and Windsurfing Equipment as well as clothing. The staff are always on hand to help you make the right choice for your needs.

Activities / Courses

To take part in any course you must book in advance, be water confident and in good health.

The centre is approved and recognised by the Royal Yachting Association and holds the Adventure Activities licence. All instructors are qualified to the relevant governing body standards. The water quality is tested every week to ensure it is of acceptable standard.
