Power Boating
The RYA (Royal Yachting Association) powerboat scheme exists
to meet the needs of all those who use small open powerboats.
As a recognised centre we offer inland displacement power
boat courses for individuals or groups. Boats used are Orkney
14ft, with 15hrp and on a ratio of 3 students to 1 instructor.
All powerboat courses are booked on demand, inland only.
Level One
Provides a practical introduction to boat handling
skills. One day course.
Level Two
Provides the skills and background knowledge
needed by the competent powerboat driver. Two day course.
Safety Boat
Teaching you the skills needed to be a safety boat driver,
rescuing people in sailboats, rowing boats, canoes, windsurfers
and much more. Three day course.
