The Borough of Bexley is fortunate to be very well provided with parks and open spaces containing a variety of beatuiful river, woodland and open field landscapes. These vary from large areas of natural open countryside, such as Foots Cray Meadows, to popular heritage parks including Danson Park with its recently restored 18th century mansion.

The sites can be hired for a variety of events such as sports matches, orienteering, fun fairs, circuses, community festivals, craft fairs, garden shows, concerts, etc.
