This recreation ground covers 11 acres. There are:
- two hard tennis courts
- two football pitches
- a children's playground (dog-free)
The adjoining Erith Stadium has a running track (the subject of a £1.3m
Lottery Award in 1998), and an athletics field which in the winter doubles
as a football pitch. Changing room facilities are based at the Stadium.

East Wickham Open Space

East Wickham Open Space is a 34-hectare site on the north-western
border of the London Borough of Bexley. The site supports a variety of habitats
and wildlife and the Green Chain Walk dissects the Open Space from east to
west.
Through the efforts of a partnership between the Council and the East Wickham
Conservation Volunteers Group the site has been transformed in recent years
for the benefit of both wildlife and the local community. There is a regular
programme of wildlife walks and conservation activities organised by the conservation
volunteers for the community to join in with.

- Flying of any type of model aircraft is now banned on this site
