Parks strategy key aims

To maximise support for parks development and maintenance through external funding opportunities and ensure that new resources are directed to benefit customers using parks

Work proactively on development projects designed to meet modern day needs
Seek lottery and other external funding to support projects
Support joint ventures with other partners on partnership funding and sponsorship opportunities, as well as facilitating events and amenity developments
Identify and develop revenue-generating projects
Seek investments that improve value for money for park users, enable self-support initiatives and attract additional funding
Consider realistic park development proposals put forward by other parties

Proactively seek out creative partnerships and new opportunities for funding
Continue to maximise park and open space improvements for Bexley through work on the following projects:

Foots Cray Meadows Lottery Project
Danson Park Lottery Project
Danson Mansion Project
Hall Place Project
New open space/playground projects (resulting from Planning Agreements)
Capital Challenge Erith Riverside Open Spaces Project
