Objectives

• Evaluate the importance and role of each park and open space
• Set specific aims and objectives for individual parks and open spaces
• Have regard for the environmental and historic character of parks and open spaces
• Channel limited resources to ensure the greatest impact
• Review and set standards for park and open space management
• Set value-for-money standards for park design

• Carry out a strategic evaluation of Bexley's parks and open spaces
• Produce an implementation plan for the Parks Strategy
• Define Bexley's Park Management Plan format
• Update existing Park Management Plans
• Develop and implement new Park Management Plans
