The Building Control Service -
"Helping us get it right"
How can I help?
"If you like what we do, please tell others. If you don't, please
tell us."
Whilst we try to get it right first time, things do still go wrong. By telling us where we have gone wrong, we can make sure it does not happen again.
If you are dissatisfied with the Building Control Service and which to complain,
please speak to the person dealing with your proposal or a Senior Manager if you
prefer. Usually things can be put right, although you may wish to complain formally.
There is a formal procedure, details of which are available at Reception, Wyncham House. You may write in or, if it is more convenient, telephone.
Any complaints received by telephone or in person are recorded on a form and registered. (The form may also be completed at any other Council Information or Reception desk).
What happens next?
- An acknowledgement will be sent within three days
- The complaint will be investigated
- A full or interim reply will be sent within two weeks. (An interim reply will indicate when the full reply will be sent.)
